Our
business started out in the auto and truck repair. The
garden tractors seem to have taken
over the focus of
Jim's Repair - they are just so
much fun. It's more fun to buy a toy (oh, I mean tractor) or
repower your toy than it is to get your ailing auto fixed, but for
over 25 years we have offered down to earth, reliable, auto and
truck repair. One thing we can guarantee you, we will not sell
you anything you don't need. If your brakes are still in good
condition we won't try and sell you a brake job. Same for any other
repair you need, you won't get charged for something you didn't need
and we won't trick you into new struts or tie rods.

repaired, bring it over,
Jim loves working on the classic
and antique cars and will baby them how you want him to. He's
had Model A's and T's of his own. His dad had a yellow 1959
Cadillac. I would like a 1969 Dodge Charger so if you have one of
those bring it over just for me to look at!
Jim has been known to stay up half
the night to get a farm truck back in running condition for a
customer. The shop has a 14 foot high door to get the big
trucks or tractors in. Jim grew up in North Dakota on a 2000
acre farm and knows how important it is to keep the equipment going.
Growing up on the farm, and as the only boy, he learned to fix it
all, the diesel and gas tractors, the farm trucks, the combine, you
name it. He attended the Wahpeton State School of Science for
automotive repair and after that worked at a Ford dealership in
Bowman, ND. When Jim came to Minnesota for schooling in
propane conversions he met his wife. The propane conversions became
popular in the gas crunch of the 70's, maybe they'll will again with
the gas prices over $2 a gallon.
